About Us
We are very proud to be the first Nationally Accredited Hospitality School under the Australian Vocational Education and Training system in South Australia. Alliance College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), formerly known as AHTS – Training and Education, who operate under approval of the Australian Government Commonwealth Register of International Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) and Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
We were founded in Adelaide in 1981, with 45 years’ experience.

Governance and Committee Structure
Alliance College maintains a structured governance framework to ensure effective leadership, compliance, quality assurance, and workplace safety across all operations.
Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) provides strategic direction and overall governance for the college. The ELT is responsible for high-level decision-making, overall accountability, organisational performance, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
All other committees report directly or indirectly to the ELT.

Quality Assurance Committee (QAC)
The Quality Assurance Team oversees continuous improvement, compliance with national training standards, internal audits, and quality control across all programs and services.

Teaching and Learning Committee (T&LC)
The Learning and Teaching Committee oversees the quality of training and assessment practices, trainer and assessor performance, student outcomes, and the continuous improvement of learning and teaching strategies.
Reports to: Quality Assurance Committee (QAC)

Work, Health and Safety Committee (WHS)
The Work Safety Team is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working and learning environment. This includes workplace health and safety (WHS) policies, risk management, and incident response.
