Why Study Certificate III in English Proficiency at Alliance?
This nationally recognised qualification (11303NAT) is designed for students who want to further develop their English language skills for study, work, and everyday communication. Students will strengthen their ability to communicate effectively across speaking, listening, reading, and writing in more complex personal, social, and workplace contexts. The course supports learners to build confidence and fluency in English while preparing for further vocational or academic pathways in Australia. For eligible students, this training is delivered with South Australian Government funding. Upon successful completion, participants will be issued a Certificate III in English Proficiency by Alliance College (RTO: 0137).

Study Pathways
After successful completion of the 11303NAT Certificate III in English Proficiency, students may progress to higher-level English language programs or a range of vocational education and training qualifications. This course provides a pathway to further studies in areas such as Hospitality, Business, Community Services, Automotive, and Construction, supporting students to continue developing both their English proficiency and vocational skills.
Possible pathways include:

- BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business
Entry Requirements
Eligibility for Subsidised Training:
- To be eligible for a government-subsidised training place in this course, you must live or work in South Australia and be:
- An Australian or New Zealand citizen; OR
- A permanent Australian resident; OR
- A holder of an eligible visa (Check the Skills SA website for the full list of eligible visa subclasses).
Additional Criteria:
- You must be aged 16 years or over; and
- You must not be enrolled in school.
- Satisfactory completion of Year 10 or equivalent schooling OR Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 3.
- Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) Core Skills Profile.
