Career Pathways

This qualification may lead to a pathway to work as a Civil Design Manager or Contracts Manager. Employment may include but is not limited to: Civil Engineering Draftsperson, Civil Engineering Design Draftsperson, Civil Design Draftsperson, Civil Construction Supervisor, Senior Civil Works Designer.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to apply civil construction design principles, develop technical plans, analyse design performance, ensure compliance with regulations, manage project risks and quality, apply geotechnical engineering concepts, and use CAD software for complex drawings.

Study Pathways

Students may progress to UEE62111 - Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology, MEM80112 - Graduate Diploma of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering.

Delivery Mode

Classroom based face-to-face, lecture presentations and demonstrations, individual and group activities, work placement and self-directed.
